Autograph letter signed from Vernon Rendall, London, to unidentified recipient [manuscript], 1901 March 1.

He writes that Mr. Maccoll is no longer the editor of the Atheæum. His space is fully occupied and is afraid that he cannon contemplate an article on so controversial a subject. Letter is addressed "Dear Sir." On mourning paper with letterhead from the Atheæum Office, Bream's Buildings, Chancery Lane, E.C.
